Suranga Jayawardena is the Director Operations of Victus-X Outsourcing (Pvt) Ltd., bringing over 22 years of senior leadership experience in finance, shared services, and business process outsourcing across Sri Lanka, the Middle East, and the Pacific Islands.

He is an Associate Member of CA Sri Lanka and CIMA and holds an MBA from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, United Kingdom. His strong academic and professional credentials underpin Victus-X’s ability to deliver enterprise-grade, compliant, and scalable BPO solutions to clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Suranga began his career with Ernst & Young Sri Lanka, where he developed deep expertise in audit, assurance, due diligence, forensic audits, internal controls, and BPO advisory services. This foundation shapes Victus-X’s emphasis on governance, risk assurance, and process excellence—critical requirements for ANZ businesses seeking trusted offshore partners.

His leadership journey includes senior roles with prominent regional and multinational organizations, including Dialog Axiata PLC and Almarai (Saudi Arabia), followed by his tenure at Aitken Spence PLC as Assistant General Manager – Financial Shared Services. At Aitken Spence, he led large-scale Finance Shared Services operations, overseeing General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Taxation, while driving process standardisation, cost optimisation, SLA performance, and service reliability across complex, multi-entity local & overseas operational environments.

Most recently, Suranga served as Senior Finance Manager for a leading diversified conglomerate in the Pacific Islands (VPCL group), where he was entrusted with end-to-end financial strategy and stewardship across multiple business sectors. His responsibilities covered financial planning and strategy, high-level financial reporting and analysis, executive MIS, budgeting and forecasting, enterprise risk management, regulatory and tax compliance, working capital optimisation, treasury and cash flow management, cost leadership, and inventory governance. This role required navigating multi-jurisdictional regulations, supporting large-scale operations, and partnering closely with executive leadership.

As the Head of Sri Lanka Operations at Victus-X Outsourcing, Suranga leads the delivery of high-performance finance and accounting BPO services for international clients. His leadership focus is on operational excellence, data security, transparency, and scalability, ensuring clients in Australia and New Zealand benefit from reliable service delivery, measurable cost savings, and strong financial governance—positioning Victus-X as a trusted, long-term outsourcing partner.
